Overview
WONDERTOX® is a highly purified Botulinum toxin type A injectable licensed by the KFDA. Each vial contains 100 Units of active neurotoxin, rigorously processed to eliminate impurities and ensure consistent performance in cosmetic and therapeutic applications.
Key Benefits
- Exceptional wrinkle smoothing: softens fine lines and deep creases by temporarily relaxing targeted muscles
- Youthful skin promotion: restores a smoother, more radiant complexion
- Versatile indications: from cosmetic rejuvenation to medical treatments such as blepharospasm and equinus deformity in pediatric cerebral palsy
Composition
- Clostridium botulinum toxin type A: 100 U
- Human serum albumin: 0.5 mg
- Sodium chloride (isotonic agent): 0.9 mg
Mechanism of Action
WONDERTOX® inhibits acetylcholine release at the neuromuscular junction, causing localized, reversible muscle relaxation. This prevents the repetitive contractions responsible for wrinkle formation.
Approved Indications
- Temporary improvement of moderate to severe glabellar (frown) lines in adults (19–65 years)
- Treatment of benign essential blepharospasm in adults (19–65 years)
- Correction of equinus foot deformity in pediatric cerebral palsy patients (≥ 2 years)
Storage Conditions
Store unopened vials in a freezer (< –5 °C) or refrigerator (2–8 °C). Protect from light and avoid temperature excursions. Shelf life is 36 months from manufacture.
Reconstitution & Handling
Reconstitute with sterile, preservative-free 0.9 % saline. Gently swirl to dissolve—do not shake. Label with date/time and use within 24 hours when stored at 2–8 °C. Although stability data indicate up to 5 weeks under refrigeration, clinical best practice is to administer within 24 hours to minimize contamination risk.
Administration Guidelines
Use aseptic technique and sterile equipment. Tailor dosage to patient anatomy and indication, following established protocols. Inject intramuscularly using a fine-gauge needle. Observe the patient post-treatment for any immediate reactions.
Patient Safety
Consult a qualified medical professional before use. Discard any opened or expired product. Monitor for adverse effects such as injection-site reactions, localized muscle weakness or allergic responses. Unused or wasted product is non-returnable and must be disposed of per local regulations.
