HUTOX® 100 U

Overview

HUTOX® 100 U is a highly purified (99.8%) Botulinum toxin type A injectable, manufactured by Huons Co., Ltd. Designed as a muscle relaxant, it provides temporary smoothing of moderate to severe glabellar (frown) lines in adults aged 19–65 and can be applied in both medical and aesthetic settings.

Composition

  • Clostridium botulinum toxin type A: 100 Units
  • Human serum albumin: 0.5 mg
  • Sodium chloride: 0.9 mg

Indication

Temporary improvement of moderate to severe glabellar lines associated with corrugator and/or procerus muscle activity in adult patients (19–65 years).

Dosage & Administration

Reconstitute with sterile, preservative-free 0.9% sodium chloride to achieve 100 U in 2.5 mL (40 U/0.1 mL). Using a 30 G needle, inject 0.1 mL into each of five sites (two injections per corrugator and one into the procerus muscle), for a total of 100 U.

Storage & Handling

Store unopened vials refrigerated at 2–8 °C. Do not freeze. After reconstitution, keep at 2–8 °C and use within 24 hours. Shelf life is 36 months from the manufacturing date.

Administer only by qualified healthcare professionals. Inspect reconstituted solution for clarity and absence of particulates before use. Common adverse reactions include injection-site discomfort and transient muscle weakness. Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any component.
