What is the purpose of REVOFIL?
REVOFIL is used by doctors to fill moderate to deep facial wrinkles, such as the nasolabial folds (the folds between the nose and the lips), and to restore facial form. This medical gadget can aid in rehydrating skin, shrinking pores, reducing skin pigmentation, and preventing pigmentation and other skin problems.REVOFIL can help decrease wrinkles on the face, neck, and decollate, as well as other symptoms of aging.
What is the function of REVOFIL?
REVOFIL contains hyaluronic acid, which helps to hydrate skin and improve its volume, helping to diminish the appearance of wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid also functions as an antioxidant, protecting the skin from free radicals that cause cell damage. Although non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid degrades quickly in the body, the peptides in this dermal filler gel help to inhibit the enzyme hyaluronidase, allowing the hyaluronic acid to last longer. The amino acids, vitamins, and minerals in this dermal filler nourish the skin and encourage the growth of new skin cells, enhancing suppleness and rejuvenating the skin. This filler reduces melanin synthesis in the skin, fading the appearance of skin pigmentation like age spots and freckles over time and preventing dark spots from appearing.
REVOFIL lasts how long?
When treating a patient with REVOFIL for the first time, start with three treatment sessions spaced four weeks apart. Repeat the treatments two or three times a year to maintain the results. You may need to start with six treatments at two-week intervals, followed by five or six sessions a year for maintenance, depending on the patient's skin.
What is the best way to use REVOFIL?
REVOFIL should only be injected by certified medical personnel. To use REVOFIL, disinfect the treatment area first, and then apply a topical or local anesthetic if needed.
Insert the needle into the mid to deep dermis after carefully pressing the syringe rod until a small droplet of dermal filler gel appears on the end of the needle. If you inject the dermal filler too deeply, you may end up with noticeable lumps or a bluish discoloration on your skin. Hold the needle at a thirty-degree angle to the length of the wrinkle you're treating, inject the necessary amount of dermal filler, then stop injecting before removing the needle from the skin to avoid overflow. Overcorrection should be avoided. You can use the serial puncture technique, serial threading technique, linear threading technique, or cross-hatching technique, depending on what you prefer and what is best for your patient.
After you've completed injecting the filler, massage the region gently to help it adhere to the contours of the surrounding tissue. You can forcefully massage the filler against a bone or between your fingers if you've overcorrected, and you can also employ massage to correct skin blanching. Apply an ice pack for a few minutes to minimize swelling, but use caution if you've had anesthesia. Because REVOFIL is only for single use, properly dispose of the needle and any unused dermal filler gel. Because of the potential for cross-contamination, never re-sterilize or inject another patient with gel from the same syringe. Refer to your product booklet for complete injection instructions.
