MEDITOXIN® 200U is a purified botulinum toxin type A formulation derived from Clostridium botulinum, developed by MedyTox Inc. Korea and approved by the Korean Drug Administration (KDA) in 2004. It is used for both aesthetic and therapeutic applications, functioning by blocking the release of acetylcholine at neuromuscular junctions, resulting in temporary, localized muscle relaxation.
MEDITOXIN is therapeutically comparable to Botox® (Allergan), but features minimal diffusion due to its high molecular weight, making it ideal for treating delicate facial areas such as the eyes and lips.
Indications and Uses
Aesthetic Applications:
- Forehead lines
- Glabellar lines (frown lines between eyebrows)
- Crow’s feet (periorbital wrinkles)

- Bruxism (teeth grinding)
