Botulinum A, or Meditoxin, was created by Medy Tox Korea Limited and was approved by the KDA in 2004. It was found to be superior to Botox.
Effects remain for 4-6 months after starting Meditoxine treatment. Another treatment should be administered following this one.

If administered incorrectly, it can have negative side effects like any botulinum toxin. Side effects are negligible when used as recommended.

It comes in a clear vial as a lyophilized white powder for injection.

The powder is compressed inside a glass ampoule that is part of the box. The ampoule may occasionally appear empty. To use, mix saline with the powder in the ampoule. Add 2.5 ml of saline for 100 units and 5 ml for 200 units.
